Why I built Ajiu

Charlie Tsui

Founder, Ajiu

Ajiu started with a simple, annoying pattern: the schedule of a solo coach or instructor doesn't change in the calendar. It changes in a text message. A parent moves Thursday's lesson. A client cancels two sessions and asks for one back next week. Every one of those messages means re-reading the thread, checking what else it collides with, typing a reply, and only then touching the calendar.

Booking links don't help with that, and generic AI assistants want commands, not conversations. So Ajiu reads the message as it was written, works out what changed and what conflicts, drafts the reply back to your client, and waits for your approval before anything is written to your calendar.

It's built for one person running their own schedule — not enterprise sales teams or admin-heavy booking workflows.
